VFX Blog: Green Screen Project: The Pyro

This was a 3 person greenscreen group assignment, and the group consisted of me (Javier) as the lead 3D and visual effects artist and I also did most of the shot break down, David who came up with the basic plot and story board, and did color correction and a bit of roto work and Danny which did sound work and acting.

The project is really rough, but we really enjoyed (except maybe the last all-nighter) working on it. This was the first project I had done with live action footage that I actually enjoyed.

We had hoped to improve on it, but it seems I'm just unlucky and lost the most recent maya files (I still have the pre-textured files) the day we turned this in. At least it wasn't the day before...

These are the backgrounds I modeled, lit, and textured (all could have used some work though)
